Elise Testone was eliminated last week on American Idol 2012 which means she’s been doing the media tour ever since. We’ve collected a few of her segments here including her interview on The Today Show, a segment from her Anderson Cooper interview, and her performances on Access Hollywood and Live! With Kelly.
Elise stopped by Anderson Cooper’s show to talk about her experience. In the clip below she discusses the stress of hearing Jimmy Iovine’s tough feedback just before the results were revealed last week. There are a few other clips on Cooper’s YouTube channel, but she’s doing more of her sarcastic attitude in them so we’ll stick with this one.
Hear the American Idol 2012 finalist perform “Let’s Stay Together” earlier this week on Access Hollywood:
Elise Testone also stopped by “Live! with Kelly” on Monday to perform Adele’s “One and Only.”
You can also check out Elise’s interview where she discusses what we can expect to hear from her on this summer’s Idol tour.
Elise is very underrated. But she impressed America late. I thought she’s going to be like Haley Reinhart, making it to top 3.
I, too, felt the same thing (that she’d reach the Top 3). Anything higher is quite a erach because of the demographics and how the typical Idol viewer votes. So, unlike last season with Haley, there is this big void of emptiness now that Elise left left what is now the Top 5. I don’t wish to see a stage without Elise on it, so will wait until the Finale to tune in again.
Dittos to Kurt and Lynn. I think she got a bit too essoteric near the end. If she’d have done something more recognizable like Haley did last year (Bennie and the Jets; House of the Rising Sun) instead of a reliatively unknown (to pop fans, anyway) Jimi Hendrix song, then maybe we wouldn’t be writing all this. As it were, could you see Haley and Elise working together on stage?
JESSICA will sing “Proud Mary” for her 60’s, and “Bleeding Love” for her British pop…..WHEW! Can’t wait to see her tonight!!!!
Is this true? 🙂
yes lizlie…
No, it’s speculation at this point. Could be right, but no one outside production knows yet.

i THINK hollie will going home…..but i WANT joshua going home….
this appears to be a “Joshua and Jessica” match up for the finale….from the judges viewpoint anyway…..
The comments here prove that everyone is over Elise. Even on an article about her, no one wants to talk about her.
I’ve noticed that too, but I guess everyone just really anticipating on AI performance night but not literally over Elise, it’s not the right timing I guess~ :)) HAHA.lol.
These two performances are further proof of why Elise should still be on American Idol. There’s no doubt in my mind that she’ll take the music world by storm, and have a long and successful career. I can’t wait to hear more music from her, for years to come.
She really doesn’t sound so good on these performances. Sorry but I am not feeling it. I like her personality though. Seems to be a little bitterness but I wish her the best.
you really should have your ears checked..!! maybe its a medical condition or perhaps you lack the capacity to recognize excellence when you hear it??
I could say the same thing to you but I respect other’s opinions. I stated my opinion and I don’t really care if you agree with it or not.
I would like to hear phillip sing jeremy or daughter by pearl jam!!!! He would blow the roof off!
Elise is well flavoured with experience and talent. The end rounds were difficult in the way that judging was gettting overdone for her talent. Elise is a gifted woman with a wonderful voice and talent. I am sorry she got eliminated, but….. it is not always the best that wins! I wish her all the best in whatever way she chooses to share her talents, confidence in what she does, strength to always be herself and believe and trust in her choices whatever they may be! Good Luck Elise!
Jessica should sing a Phyllis Hymann song, can’t remember the name but goes something about I dont want to live…… jessica will kill her song, they have similar vocal tones. Jessica will be the next voice (Withney!). CJ
She is not without talent. She lost because of her attitude.
K
so she did n0t suck up like the others,, and did not say things that would only give her favor and NOT speak her mind or be herself?? so being older and more experienced you perceived her as having a bad attitude?? when the others just shut up and say only things that would leave them in a good light??? there are a large percentage of americans who are prejudice about all differences.. and those same percentage cannot judge without preconceived warped observations….
Are we all watching the same tv show? Elise was HORRIBLE! Yes she had her own sound and style, but she just didnt sound all that good. She butchered several songs and she always looked for an excuse or escape to make up for her shortcomings.
To call her horrible is totally RETARDED,why dont you make a tee shirt that states your feelings and see for yourself just how ignorant you are!! See for yourself how people would avoid you like the plague…TONY-TANKER SAYS ELISE TESTONE IS A HORRIBLE SINGER…
Elise, of course it would have been cool to win, but come on, you can’t be too bummed about “losing” on a show that last year made Alfread E. Newman its number one idol. America doesn’t know squat about singing talent, obviously. They couldn’t comprehend the things that you were doing, which frankly, put most of the other contestants to shame. So sophisticated. So cool. I just loved your performances. And more importantly, I’ll buy your album.
