Adam Lambert Has Police Report Filed Against Him

Adam Lambert is back in the headlines and not for the best of reasons today after a police report was filed against him for alleged battery. Unfortunately for Adam it was against a photographer who was surrounded by other photographers, all of whom produced much photographic evidence. Photographically, of course.

Law enforcement sources tell us the paparazzo seen grappling with Lambert on the beach yesterday walked into a Miami Beach police station around 10:30 PM last night and filed a report … accusing the singer of misdemeanor battery.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, the victim claims Adam grabbed his backpack “where the camera was placed” … and “wrestled [the photog] to the ground forcefully.”

Lambert tweeted, “Battery? Nope. I attempted to grab a camera, no punches were thrown and no one was on the ground…. It was literally harmless. If embarrassment is a crime- thats all I’m guilty of. “

Luckily it sounds like Adam Lambert should be in the clear on this one, but we’ll have to see what the “victim” decides to do about it. WWTDD has a few photos of the incident including some mooning Lambert’s friends did for the paparazzi.

  1. Look at the pics. The photog is laughing and was clearly baiting Adam. According to reports the police are not going to charge him.

  2. i dont get this they have the grandparent who killed my her mother! and we all know she did .thegrandparent lie and cover for her. yet the put them on tv.. adam get in a biff with a jerk who works for tmz and the canceled his show…. some one should sue tmz for slander and other crap they get way with…

  3. Unfortunately for Adam these paparazzi's are a fact of life but I can't imagine Adam going after anybody unless he is provoked….These guys should stop getting in peoples faces…..just take your pictures and go!!!!!!!!!

  4. I really can't figure American Idol out. The very week that Adam is awarded a Platinum Plaque in Singapore for his FYE album is totally ignored; yet, you print garbage about an incident that was clearly made to put Adam in a bad light. See the following interview from the Singapore event planner at
http://www.candyglam.com/2010/09/adam-razortv-sin… — it was very enlightening in that Adam himself said the reporters had already spent 25 minutes taking every photo imaginable of his little group, and it just got to him when they wouldn't leave when he asked them to! Imagine that! He's a human being after all.

Where also is all the positive news about Adam's Glam Nation 70-city Tour he just completed? Plus the start of his International Tour — what's going on, American Idol? Can't you keep up with Adam?
