American Idol 2013 Hollywood Week: The Mathheads Perform ‘Somebody To Love’

It’s American Idol 2013 Hollywood Week! And per usual, it’s a jumbled mess that makes my job hard! But enough whining. When I was able to follow who was who, there were a few standout performances. We’re going to look at a few of them again today.

As I’ve mentioned time and time again during my various singing competition show recaps, I HATE when someone touches a Queen song. See, that’s my #1 all-time favorite band. So I’m always very picky.

So that’s why I was surprised when Mathenee Treco, Gabe Brown, Nick Boddington, and Matheus Fernandes formed The Mathheads and performed Queen’s “Somebody To Love” and liked it!

Despite the silly group name, the four guys did a great job with the song. And the judges thought so too because they sent them all onto the next round of Hollywood Week competition.

We’ve got the video of their performance below. So let’s have another look at and listen to The Mathheads performing “Somebody to Love.”

What do you think of these guys?
