In an appearance on LIVE! with Kelly and Michael, eliminated American idol 2015 contestant Joey Cook‘s vivacious personality shined in the studio during a performance of Iggy Azalea‘s “Fancy.”
In a brief interview with co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan after the song, Joey Cook talked about earning money on the streets of New Orleans, and how she had to take precautions on show nights during American Idol because she suffers from epilepsy.
“Any performances I was in the audience for that had strobe lights, I had to wear these big glasses, and I would just keep my eyes closed the whole time, and kind of just like Ray Charles to the music.”
Joey hopes to start working on a “big girl” album soon in a real studio, using material she recorded on her iPhone as the base for the record.

I would definately buy her album
Joey is the consummate artist and she brings excitement with each and every performance. Who would have thought that such an explosion of talent would come forth. Hated to see her go (she shouldn’t have) but I will look forward to an album.
I will buy her music. I was thoroughly disappointed that she was sent home last week. I felt that she was the third best contestant after Clark and Jax. In fact, I thought her final performance was one of her best from the entire season.
