American Idol Season 4 winner Carrie Underwood is one of only four female American Idol winners and the country superstar said recently that it’s time another lady takes home the crown.
“You never know who or why people vote a certain way,” Carrie said recently in a press conference. “The way the voting goes has a lot to do with the audience watching the show. I don’t know how I pulled off a win the year I was on. That year, they said a guy was gonna win and they were wrong, fortunately. Thank goodness.”
Carrie is so set on the idea that she even plans to vote this year.
“I’m always excited to watch the show and definitely will throw in some votes of my own,” Carrie said. “I would like to see another female take it home, I think it’s time.”

Limit the voting to 10 per device and the results will change dramatically and the ratings will rise. I’m not watching this year due to the voting policy.
I agree Templar. One of these days our wish will come true and the voting will change. THEN and only then I think I girl will win.
