New American Idol 2012 Promo Released

American Idol released a new promo over the weekend for the upcoming Idol 2012 season and we’re continuing to see more faces and golden tickets. There’s even more Randy saying his usual fluff, JLo getting goosebumps, and Steven saying almost inappropriate things. What more could you ask for?

  1. it’ll be nice to get back to the relative sanity of american idol after that doofus of a show, x factor. but please randy, bury the “dog” already!!

  2. So looking forward to this. By all accounts XF didn’t begin to measure up to Idol. It’s about time for Cowell to go home, although judging by comments from friends of mine in the UK, they don’t miss him.

  3. All I can say is that after watching The X-Factor I am soooo ready for Idol. Bring it on!!!!

    • @ Phyllis…Me too…very disapointed with the X-Factor…PS Just a little positive news about our man James. His debut CD…Memories of a Beautiful Disaster…The review stated that James “is one of the best rock voices to come out of AI” and the CD “packs metallic muscle” Whoo Hoo 🙂

      • Rose….you are too funny. I just finished emailing you about our Man James. LOL

  4. Well yeah I’m enjoying the X-Factor, but it’s kind of got overwhelming for me. The bad host that is actually making me like Ryan Secrest(I never actually hated Ryan, but I never really liked him either), someone having a meltdown every results show. (Paula had a meltdown, the next week Astro had a meltdown, this past week Simon had a meltdown) that’s getting old.

Things I don’t want to see or hear on Idol this season though. Steven getting all pervy on the teenage girls. Sorry Steven but those girls are young enough to be your granddaughters and that’s just creepy. JLO getting flirty with the male contestants, ie: the way she would get with Casey and Stefano. Randy saying “in it to win it”. Steven saying “that was beautiful”.

Those are just some things that could be improved upon, other than that I’m ready for the show to air. And ready for a little bit of sanity after the X-Factor.
