First up on day two of “Lines of 10” are Jeneve Rose Mitchell, the 15-year-old, stand-up bass player who has no electricity. And she killed it so the judges send her through.
Gianna Isabella, who I think is being forced on us and a bit overrated because of her formerly-famous mom, was up next and I thought it was an OK performance, but I wouldn’t have put her through if it were up to me. But it’s not, so it’s no shock she makes it on to the next round. Tristan McIntosh followed Gianna, and her audition, while better, wasn’t flawed. She was better in her original audition, but I like her. And the judges do as well, because she’s also moving on.
Up next are Idol superfans Kyrsti Jewel and Michelle Marie, and somewhere from auditions to Hollywood week, Michelle lost some of her sparkle and was left was just her annoying hyperactivity. As for Kyrsti, she kind of sparkled too much and couldn’t maintain much control of her voice. I was thinking both would be cut only Kyrsti was axed. On her birthday.
The final audition of the night is Trent Harmon, who literally just found out he has mono. But that news didn’t hinder his audition. It was clearly the best of the night and that’s why it was saved for last. Well, almost last. There’s also Emily Brooke, who was also good, but not as good as Trent. But they obviously both made it through to the next round. (Along with the sister of last season’s Shi Scott, Poh Scott).

Love Jenn Blosil [looks a lot like actress Eloise Mumford]. Also like Tristan McIntosh, Dalton Rappattoni and to some degree Trent harmon [although he’s a bit too Phil Philips emo].
