During a personal one-on-one with Idol host Ryan Seacrest, Savion explained he’d be singing his own song in memory of his brother, Alfie Wright, who died last November.

According to a news report, the FBI and Justice Dept are investigating the death of Savion Wright’s brother and consider it “mysterious.” Another report includes very brutal details of a possible savage murder of this father and husband.

Despite such a terrible tragedy Savion Wright continues to be an incredible singer and performer on American Idol season 13. His original song helped earn him passage to the next round on Hollywood Week where he’ll compete as part of a group.
