4. Rachel Zevita is singing “Criminal” by Fiona Apple
5. Karen Rodriguez – “Hero” in Spanish and English (Mariah Carey version)
6. Lauren Turner sings “Seven Day Fool” by Etta James, but it’s Jully Black’s version
7. Ashthon Jones sings “Love Over Me” by Monica

I’m not really surprised by any of these choices. As far as the judges comments? They loved Lauren Turner, Lauren Alaina and Pia Toscano and thought Rachel Zevita, Naima Adedepo, Ashthon Jones and Julie Zorilla were the worst of the night. Everyone else was middle of the road. We’ll have to wait until tomorrow night to see how it all plays out.

this is just my opinion,
for me THIA MEGIA stands out,
she’s not forcing herself to hit the high notes
unlike the rest of the girls did.
they’re trying to impress everybody with
who has the highest-notes.
but i like the way PIA TOSCANO ended her song,
no wonder she got not only the audience’s standing ovation
but the judges’s first standing-O so far this season as well.
not to mention she's gorgeous and sexy.
but i’m not really into who has the highest-notes thing.
i’m more into who has the voice quality so i’ll go for THIA MEGIA,
at such a young age of 15 she already has a good voice-quality
and it will still improve in years to come
plus she looks innocent, sweet, and humble.
it seems like she’s not aware that she’s good, no air at all that’s why i like her.
as for the guys, i go for STEFANO LANGONE.
i didn’t noticed him at first and i relly didn’t care when he got eliminated,
but when the wild card started and he sang
“I NEED YOU NOW” by smoki norfuls,
i had a goosebumps and i felt his performance,
since then i became a fan hehehe.
too early to decide,
it might still change in a few more weeks but as for now my two faves are:
THIA MEGIA and STEFANO LANGONE.
if they won’t win it’s ok,
they can probably make a love team hehehe.

I hope that Naima does well and goes far! She is another favorite of mine, I really love her voice!
The judges love anything Lauren Alaina does. She irritates the life out of me. She is so cheesy and fake. I don't begin to get why they like her so much

Lauren Alaina has an amazing strong voice, and could sing anything put before her..I'm sure she'll tone down when she makes it to the top 10.
Lauren is a rlly good singer. She has a wonderful vocie I hope she makes the top ten 😀

Lauren is very good and she has the so called WOW factor. I'm not sure about the song she is singing tonight as being her best choice, though.
If you don't know anything about the person personally, then you should not make comments as to whether they are fake or not… I know her personally and she is not fake!

Alan…Pia is my favorite of the girls….I would think she would nail "I'll Stand By You"…I also like Lauren Turner and Naima Adedapo…..We'll have to watch tomorrow night to see how this unfolds….Enjoy…

Looking forward to the guys competing tonight and the girls tomorrow night. Wondering why Naima chose an older song…with her range and the ability to hit those high notes, she would do well with songs by Rianna, Mirah and/or Christine A. So far, Pia, Ashton and Naima have impressed me. For the guys…James, Casey and Tim Halperin have stood out. JMO. 🙂
I completely agree! Naima is unique and has a great voice. Same with Pia and Ashthon. They are amazing. I absolutely love James and Casey. Tim is great and so is Scotty.

For the life of me, I cannot understand WHY they never showed everybody. No one got a chance to see Jackie Wilson. Guys SHE'S GREAT. The only time she was seen was in auditions. Then they show this take of her missing her words. So that made her look like she wasn't all that good. They should have shown her duo or group singing. It had to have been great, or she would not have made it to Vegas. I say WILDCARD for Miss Jackie Wilson
Ashli Rae…..Regarding this blog….I thought these shows were live. How can you know how the judges comments went? I'm just curious….
The singers do practice rounds and the judges listen and critique. What you see in the evenings are the live performances, but it's not the first time they've done them or the judges have seen them do it.
Remember the other year when Paula started talking about someone's "earlier performance" was better and everyone thought she was nuts. She was referring to the rehearsal performances.
So that's where these spoilers come from.

This week's performances might not even be live to tell you the truth! I can't remember what they do this early on in the season.
Naima shouldn't sing Summer Time, since the judges have said in the past NO ONE can do it justice when compared to Fantasia.

Do these contestants watch past shows? I could have told her Summer Time was a bad choice. Every contestant that has ever attempted that song has had to endure the Fantasia comparison and been eliminated when they don't measure up.

I can positively say I've truly heard alot of singers in my day, I have been raised up for 61 yrs. with music in my life, and wow when I heard Jacob Lusk,Karen Rodriguez,Thia Megia,Pia Toscano sing, It makes me appreciate the love of music more then ever. They'll be there until the end, if they keep singing like that, With their Heart, not just there voices.Wait and See

Thia Magia seems to be different. I hope she will choose the right song. I wish somebody will help her to show off her personality. She is pretty and fresh looking. Please somebody tell her not to put flower in her hair. I wonder if we can suggest songs for her. How to can we do that. Can we e-mail them? Remember choice of song is very important.
Pia and Thia are the best – by far at this point.
It would take a great amount of musical magic to surpass either of these two.
well I picked 8 out of 10, thought the other Lauren would be there instead of Thia, and Clint instead of Paul. I think Lauren Stepono, Kendra and Clint will be the wildcards
