After weeks of seeing a single finalist crush the rest of the crowd there were three extremely even positioned players. Caleb Johnson (23%), Sam Woolf (22%), and Jena Irene (21%) were all within one point of each other sitting at the low 20% marks. If these three ended up as the American Idol Season 13’s Top 3 I don’t think most would be surprised though it’d be an incredible comeback for Sam after being voted off the show a few weeks ago.

Caught in the middle last week were finalists Alex Preston at 15% and Jessica Meuse at 13%. Those two singers could find themselves in trouble this week without a big moment now that their buffer, CJ, was voted out. CJ Harris pulled in just 3% of the vote and likely didn’t surprise most when he was eliminated on Thursday.

After two weeks in the Bottom 2 Jessica seems to be the most likely candidate to return there and possible be eliminated if all things stood the same, but with so few options left we could be due for some big surprises in this week’s American Idol results.
