This week on American Idol 2014, the remaining Top 8 contestants hit the stage for your votes with performances taking them back to their auditions.
Starting the Idol week off on Wednesday night at 8PM the remaining finalists will go back to their original performances that started their whole journey. We’ll be hearing their audition performances and if you need a refresher we’ve got your Top 8 song list spoilers here.
Then on Thursday night we’ll be back at the new time and shorter show duration when things kick off at 9PM ET with our 30-minute live blog of the whole show. We’ll get the week’s Bottom 3 and the Judges Save opportunity. With just three opportunities left for that Save we might get to see it happen soon.
Also on Thursday we’ll hear from Chris Daughtery who will be there to perform his single “Waiting For Superman” on the American Idol stage. That’ll be great to see him on the show again, but that song was released back in September 2013, so that seems kinda old to be featured in his appearance. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.

We’re getting closer to discovering which finalist will become the next American Idol! Who do you think it will be?
Not dismissing their talent, but this year’s contestants may be the least attractive ever.
I just want to know when Keith will perform.
I agree
Might be the last year for this show …. X Factor gone and the Voice is cleaning up in the ratings ………. bye bye American Idol
