There are only five episodes left of American Idol with its Farewell Season just over a month away from ending with one last night of confetti and a new winner of American Idol 2016!
The American Idol schedule has the Season 15 finale arriving on April 7, 2016 as part of a three-night series ender, but we’ve still got plenty to get through before then.
This week the Top 8 return for more performances and to await the Top 6 results during Thursday’s two-hour show. Along with performances by the Top 6 we’ll get duets from all of the Top 8.
American Idol revealed the duets yesterday and we’ve got some great pairings coming our way tomorrow. Trent Harmon and La’Porshae will sing together along with Lee Jean and Tristan McIntosh. Sonika Vaid will be duet with Avalon Young while MacKenzie Bourg and Dalton Rapattoni will take the stage together. These should be pretty good!
Will the extra four performances take the place of the return of a Bottom 3 sing-off this week like we had last time? Still no word from Idol on how this week’s elimination will be decided, but going by viewers’ votes would be a welcomed change.
