We’re closing in on the American Idol results show tonight on FOX when the Top 11 contestants are announced after Ryan Seacrest reveals the votes.

The results show airs at 8PM ET/PT for an entire hour long episode featuring not only the voting outcome but also the return of American Idol winner Phillip Phillips!
Phillips will be performing his brand new single, “Raging Fire” so you know that should be awesome! We’ll be sure to post a video of his performance later tonight as soon as it’s available.
We’ve made our predictions for tonight’s elimination results and we’ll keep an eye on your votes in our weekly poll for an update on that later today. Check back in for that news as our polls have been rather accurate each season!

Hey Ed u r so right. This year sucks and I think I am going to stop watching. Then the ones that r good Kristen and Emily get kicked off and the judges don’t save them. Watch the voice it is so much better especially this year

Ed, you’re so right! The absolute worst season to date–what a joke!! There’s no one on the roster who could come close, vocally, to so many of the past contestants such as kelly clarkson, adam lambert, carrie underwood, jessica sanchez, fantasia, clay aiken, and of course candice glover (and countless others–the list goes on….and on). The best thing about this season is Harry’s ‘shoot from the hip’, brutal honesty.
