This week on American Idol voting duties will go to Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr., and Keith Urban with America waiting one more week to support their favorites.
As we head in to this week’s Idol Showcase event at the House of Blues the remaining Top 48 contestants will be at the mercy of the American Idol Judges when it comes to the eliminations. Those final Judges’ cuts will be revealed during Thursday’s episode following Wednesday night’s performance show.
The following week, starting on February 25, 2015 the American Idol voting will begin following the Top 24 performances. First we’ll see the Season 14 Top 12 guys perform on Wednesday for our votes with the Top 12 girls on Thursday. Those initial votes for the season will decide which 8 guys and 8 girls move on to the Idol Top 12.
While we haven’t seen specifics yet on how to vote for American Idol 2015, we should expect similar methods as last year. This past season viewers could vote by phone, text, and online with Facebook and Google so don’t be surprised to find a repeat of those.
