The American Idol 2014 finalists hop on board the ‘selfies’ train this week with their official Top 8 (redux) portrait photos. We knew it had to happen eventually. Is there anywhere at all to escape from the selfie photo craze? We doubt it. Still, we have to say some of the American Idol Top 8 photos this week are pretty fun…
We may think the selfie phenomenon should perhaps gently die a quiet death and be buried without ceremony, but it just keeps going on and on and on. So it’s no surprise that the American Idol 2014 Top 8 picked up the camera this week and took their own in-your-face close-ups.
Alex Preston, we think, is the winner for the silliest selfie of the week. We give most handsome to CJ Harris and cutest by far to Malaya Watson. And we have to ask, doesn’t Jessica Meuse kind of look like she’s going for a pink-striped hair and nose ring accessorized Katniss look from The Hunger Games?
Clearly not a beauty contest.
