With the new twist in place we were guaranteed to hear from all of the Top 9 contestants which made for a nice spin on this season’s tweaked approach to a combined American Idol performance and results show.

Remember last season when Sam Woolf received the lowest number of votes and they tried to keep him around with that contestant vote… It failed. They tried to do the same thing with Daniel last night but via twitter… and it failed again. It’s pretty pathetic…
I disagree. I personally think Jax had the best performance, while Clark is in the drivers seat as to overall performances at this time-much like Calib last season before Jena took off!
