This week we will discover who won American Idol 2015 when the final two Hopefuls face off for one last performance show before a flood of guest stars arrive for the coronation of the Season 14’s best.
Only three contestants remain in the American Idol race with Clark Beckham, Jax, and Nick Fradiani awaiting their fates and the results of your votes when the lights dim on Tuesday night. All three have prepared a trio of songs, but only two will finish out the night.
Tuesday’s special performance show airs at 9/8c for a one-hour run and we’re still waiting to find out just how much we’ll see of the eliminated singer. Scott Borchetta indicated all three would sing their potential coronation song, but elsewhere there were suggestions the elimination would be held up front so we could get the goodbyes out of the way. With just one hour of show time the singers will have to move quickly to fit in all of these performances.
Then on Wednesday, starting at 8/7c, the two-hour American Idol Season 14 finale arrives with the return of the finalists and guest stars including former Idol Judge Steven Tyler. Tyler is slated to perform with Jax as we can expect pairings for the other leading finalists as well.
We’ll see you back here Tuesday at 9PM ET and Wednesday at 8PM ET for the live shows but keep checking back here on the site as we share our expectations and discussions on the season’s end.
