The American Idol Top 4 results were revealed last night as we welcomed the return of David Cook and Katharine McPhee to the Idol stage for part of the Farewell Season in the last weeks of the series.
Cook was there to perform his new song “Heartbeat,” while McPhee reprised her classic performance of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” and it was still just as amazing. Really makes you realize what we’re about to lose from television as the show winds down.
They weren’t the only guests though as Sia was both a mentor and performer this week with her “Cheap Thrills” single and a very interesting stage show. Of course I’m a big Sia fan so this was a treat for me and if you’re new to her style then there’s a lot to enjoy from Sia.
This was also the end of the journey for Sonika Vaid who was voted off this week while the other four contestants moved on to perform for your votes. Dalton Rapattoni, La’Porsha Renae, MacKenzie Bourg, and Trent Harmon continued their run for the title as the final American Idol winner.
