American Idol judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr., and Keith Urban will perform on the season 13 finale along with a slew of special guest stars. All of the American Idol 2014 judges have taken the stage once already this season. Now they will be performing once again alongside celebrity guests Paramore, KISS, Jason Mraz, and many more.
We learned last week on American Idol that the Top 2 finalists will be performing duets with famous celebrity musical icons. Third place contestant Alex Preston will get to perform with his icon Jason Mraz. Jena Irene Ascuitto will sing with Paramore. And rocker Caleb Johnson will follow in former finalist Adam Lambert’s footsteps by performing with KISS.
Also on hand for the big American Idol 2014 finale bash will be guest stars like Aoe Blacc, Demi Lovato, Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, Darius Rucker, and — the finale just wouldn’t be complete without him — former American Idol winner Phillip Phillips.
We haven’t heard anything about last season’s winner Candice Glover making an appearance, which seems a bit weird. But then again, her debut album was a total flop and she’s been floundering badly so far in the music business. Maybe they would prefer to remind us of the last successful winner instead of the most recent fail.
