The American Idol 2015 winner will be crowned in just over two weeks and our readers have steadily been voting up three core contestants leaving us with a guessing game for who makes the upcoming Top 4’s Hometown visit tour.
Fan favorite Clark Beckham kept his tight hold on the top spot in our Top 6 performance poll this past week on American Idol so I don’t think we’ll see any surprise elimination for him this week. From there we had a series of leap frogs as the remaining contestants battled for the center stage.
Jax climbed over Tyanna Jones for the second and third positions as they seem to have alternated between for much of the recent season. If there’s a Top 3 season finale then I expect both of these talented ladies to join Clark for a big showdown.
The more immediate showdown appears to be between Rayvon Owen and Nick Fradiani. This week they’ve swapped spots for fourth and fifth and with the Idol Fan Save out of the running this will be Rayvon’s only chance to avoid elimination. Rayvon made an incredible run of Twitter saves, but that safety net has been pulled away.
When Ryan Seacrest reveals the American Idol results on Wednesday night I think we’ll see Nick and Rayvon in the Bottom Two and this could be a very tight race with huge stakes. Both artists want to have a Hometown Tour but one of them is likely to fall just short. Who do you think it will be?
