This week on American Idol 2015 it’s time for a road trip! The remaining Top 24 contestants will head to Detroit for two night’s worth of performances before the viewers’ voting kicks off for Season 14.
After wrapping up three weeks worth of shows in Los Angeles we’ll see Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr., and Keith Urban meet the American Idol Top 24 in Detroit at the Filmore Theater. There the singers will again perform before a live audience in what’s set to be the first round of voting.
These events were actually held last week which gave us the chance for spoilers to reveal what each of the contestants sang in their appearance. According to TIP, there were several standouts including a standing ovation by Keith Urban for Joey Cook and Clark Beckham. Can’t wait to see them and all the other standouts:

Starting at 8PM ET/PT on Wednesday the ladies will take the stage followed on Thursday night by the guys with their performances. Out of the 24 Hopefuls still in the race only 16 will move on to perform next week with 8 being eliminated based on your votes.
Since these American Idol 2015 episodes are not live there won’t be a way to do the results this week. Instead voting will open up each night and the outcome will be revealed next week when American Idol returns.
