Didn’t we tell you TheIdolPad was a top source for American Idol spoilers? Well they’re back and letting us know what to expect tonight as the Top 6 singers for American Idol 2013 prepare for a double dose of songs with two turns each.
Below are the spoilers for both of this week’s themes for the Top 6. This looks like these songs will provide a good balance with pop hits along with a little old fashion songs. Still seems like a strange catalog to pick, but okay.

AI has real rating trouble and these are the choices for 6 remaining contestant. Just terrible categories to choose from. The show may be unwatchable for the most part. Thank god for the DVR.

Looks to me like they are choosing some really safe songs to sing tonight, none of them are willing to come out of their shell, then again, they could put a modern twist to some old tunes and make it sound awesome. The songs they wish they had written category is another safe choice of song selections…I thought this was supposed to be a competition show.
I just hope Lazaro does well with Close to You. No one can sing it like Karen did. It will mark his fate for sure if he ruins it by forgetting the words and be pitchy with it. Kree will nail her song for sure. Looking forward tonights show.
Why are they making these kids sing those tired old songs? I’m 48 and those were old when I was their age. Seriously? This would be better if they were singing songs that both the contestants AND the audience could relate to!

would love love love to have them sing the james bond themes. those songs NEVER get old.
Thank you. I said something similar a few days back. Jimmie criticized some of the contestants for not doing the work studying the music beforehand thus leaving them clueless when it came to selecting songs. I agreed with him at the time, but am beginning to realize that they are totally unable to relate to some of this music being forced upon them. I would rather listed to a song I don’t particularly like, but the artist can relate to than than some poppy song from decades ago. Oh and I’m older than yourself.
Angie should be singing “close to you” instead of Lazaro.
Angie is going to be perfect on “Love Came Down” and Amber with “Love On Top” should be very powerful. AND of course “The Dance” by Garth is one of my favorites so I hope Janelle does great!!
Help Me Make It Through the Night is one of my all-time favorite songs. Can’t wait to hear Kree sing it. Happy with her other song choice, too, as well as with both of Janelle’s. Looking forward to the performances.
Lazaro is the worstcontestant on idol ever, should have gone home week one
