TV Line picked up the spoilers on American Idol’s song list this week for the Top 8 performers. A Double Elimination awaits the singers, but since the results won’t be revealed until the start of the show all ten had to prepare.
Oh my we have some interesting song picks this week. There doesn’t seem to be a theme, which is nice, so the finalists roamed the catalogs to make their choices for the Top 8 performances on Thursday night’s show.
Lot of solid choices in here. Sonika and Dalton could have some great moments with theirs. La’Porsha is going to nail it, right? Trent’s will be good, but I’d like to hear him on something more modern. Then there’s MacKenzie. Hmm. Well it’s a gamble, but he’s gotta do something unique with it so I’ll look forward to how that goes.
Check out the full list of the American Idol 2016 Top 8 song spoilers below.

Well here’s my wish list:
La’Porsha – At Seventeen [Janis Ian]
Dalton – In These Arms [Bon Jovi]
Mackensie – Perfume [The Sparks]
Avalon – Different Drum [Stone Pony]
Trent – Sacrifice – [Elton John]
Lee Jean – She’s Out Of My Life [Michael Jackson]
Olivia – Mean [Taylor Swift]
Tristan – Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue [Crystal Gayle]
Sonika – Colors Of The Wind [from Pocahontas]
Gianna – Nothing
I know some of these [most] are pretty old, but not overdone on these shows and pretty melodic.
love your choices better than the ones listed, especially for la’porsha, who, by the way, should win. but we all know how idol works and the pretty boy with the guitar will prevail. in the long run, most of those who didn’t win have done mighty fine for themselves. we all know who they are!
No Olivia should never sing that
When Olivia picks the perfect Celine or even sing Black Dog she will blow LaPorsha and everyone else out of the way and could win.
Olivia should sing something more soulful bluesy and a little more softer her voice is too amazing to be too underrated
