American Idol 2018 Top 50: Who Should Be The Top 24?

This ween on American Idol 2018, we watched as Idol hopefuls were narrowed down to the Top 50 during the grueling and dramatic Hollywood Week portion of the competition.

Next week those Top 50 will compete in the showcase round before taking on the Green Mile walk to learn whether or not they made it into the Top 24.

Now some of you already know the Top 24 because there have been spoilers out for awhile now. And some of you don’t. Either way, we thought it would be fun to pick our own Top 24 based on what we’ve seen so far. Now keep in mind, some of the people in the Top 50 we have never really seen perform, so they could very well be Top 24 worthy, but they won’t be making our imaginary list.

To refresh your memory, where’s the 50 currently left in the competition:

I picked Marcio first because he is the complete package. He has a great backstory, he’s insanely talented and he’s put in the time already. He’s been trying to get his career off the ground for several years now all on his own. He has an LP out and now with the help of American Idol, I think he could really make it.

Several others in my Top 5 are amazing singers. They’ve had the best auditions and showings during Hollywood Week, but something tells me they aren’t as marketable as some of the others. That’s a shame, but I know how American Idol works and always has worked. You have to have the right look to go with the right voice. I wish that wasn’t the case, but I have a feeling a lot of the people on my list are just wishful thinking on my part.

Anyway, this was just for fun. So we would love to hear your Top 24 or your Top 10 or Top 5. Or just your Top 1. Anything you want to share with us in our comments section below, go for it!

Oh, and in case you don’t want to wait until next week to see how yours or my Top 24 stacks up the REAL American Idol 2018 Top 24, then check it out, if you’re into spoilers.
