  1. thank you lord for sending joey home! BUT this has to be some kind of record for being in the bottom 2 (not counting the save) Rayvon is going to win on fan saves alone! lol

      • Thank u for sending her home, but u guys I don’t know how everyone felt about Quentin’s actions tonight I have to say I am a big fan of his b/c (fixing to give away my age) but he reminds me of The Great Jimi Hendrix in his unique look and taste but his Wack behavior may have hurt .

      • @kathy to be honest with you I must say I was a bit sad myself but only because I know it was going to touch people in a negative way. I believed it was just a caring, innocent feeling Quentin had. It wasn’t as harsh as it came out. I think when he said it he meant his feelings not the show. I forgive him and I understand him. Let’s forgive him. We all have our bad moments. All Quentin fans let us give him another chance.

      • I disagree. Go back and watch it again. He started to seethe when Harry critiqued his performance. When Ryan asked him what he thought he made his remarks, then tried to save face by saying it was about the bottom two. But, he wasn’t upset about Rayvon being bottom two last week. No, IMO he was angry at Harry and tried to cover it with a more palatable explanation.

      • @Stormy sweetheart, I saw that and I was wondering why the face and the attitude but when I saw him pointed at Rayvon and Joey then I said ok that’s why, but if you look at his twitter he an Joey is like best of friends. For me he made a mistake and he did apologize.

      • All well and good, but him advancing on Harry when he’d already left the stage with an attitude of “We’re gonna settle this right now” was not wise and IMO will cost him. He knew the set up when he signed on to the competition that only one person can win. He’s probably more upset that Joey wouldn’t be on the tour. Well, if there’s any justice, he won’t make it either.

    • To be honest I rather Quentin of gone home I don’t see the big deal about him at all. He was boring since square one, got a bit better, then started being completely flat and singing in his own little world.

    • That record actually belongs to Hollie Cavanagh, Elise Testone, Syesha Mercado and Nikki McKibben.

  6. Hopping on the Rayvon bandwagon, he won me over tonight

He was perfection…the fact that he’s beaten Daniel, Quassim and Joey in fan votes is saying something, he won a lot of fans this week. Also can we point out how Harry Conick Jr is so high on himself its unbelievable, he really had the nerve to say Clark is the only muscian in the competition because Nick, Joey, and Jax dont exist

    • Rayvon owned it tonight with “You Were Always on My Mind.” Joey was finished.

    • I think Harry was making a distinction between someone who can play an instrument and someone who could make a living playing one without also being a singer.

  7. Time to join the Voice since Idol no longer cares about anyone but the east coast vote as they demonstrate wit this stupid fan save. Since Idol no longer cares about west coast votes it’s time for west coast to not care about idol.

    • You can vote its on twitter an u can watch live on youtube

The voice does the same thing

      • Yea the west coast is gonna do all that at 5pm commute and dinner hour. Just change the name to East Coast Idol and be done with hypocrisy.

      • That’d be at 7PM PT, not 5PM, when the live Twitter vote is happening. If the entire central time zone can handle TV at the 7PM hour then so can west coast. I believe in you all out there.

  8. Votes or Tweets, you have to admit Rayvon held his ground tonight. He needs to start owning songs like that.

    • ITA. Also, for the first time, I was impressed with Nick last night. He was singing a Tom petty song, but he was definitely channeling Springsteen.

    • He was, and kinda still is, one of my least favorites on the show but even I will admit that he was very good that night and – just based on that night – deserved the save.

  9. Joey was my favorite for a while, but I actually complete get why she went home…that was not a good night for her at all. I didn’t enjoy either of her performances. Ever since the “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” performance, she just hasn’t been good and never recovered in my view.
