Congratulations to all of these artists and such a huge milestone. Making the tour cutoff gives them a guaranteed job for the summer with great opportunities all around. They’ll learn a lot about touring and live performances that they might not always discover from playing the weekly Idol stage shows.
Of course the summer tour is brutal and exhausting, but I imagine when they look back it’ll have been well worth the efforts. Even if they’re completely burned out by the time it’s over!

Fans of the hit series can see this season’s talented Top Ten Finalists live when the AMERICAN IDOL® LIVE! tour returns this summer. 19 Entertainment announced today the 41-show concert tour launches Tuesday, June 24, in Binghamton, NY, and stops in major cities, including New York and Los Angeles, before wrapping in Redmond, WA, on Saturday, August 23. Once again, AMERICAN IDOL® LIVE! has partnered with The Melanoma Research Alliance (www.curemelanoma.org). For every ticket purchased for the tour, AMERICAN IDOL® LIVE! will donate $1 to The Melanoma Research Alliance to help cure melanoma.

The AMERICAN IDOL XIII Season Finale will air Tuesday, May 20, (8:00-9:00 PM live ET/tape-delayed PT) and Wednesday, May 21, (8:00-10:00 PM live ET/tape-delayed PT) on FOX, before this season’s Top Ten finalists continue on to the 2014 Live! tour this summer. Past tours have featured stars such as Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia, Adam Lambert, Scotty McCreery, Phillip Phillips, Candice Glover and many more.

the only two i would want to see are caleb and jena. the rest are average at best
At this point, I’m not sure I’d cross the street to see any of them if admission was free. Season 8 I’d have crawled on my hands and knees over broken glass to see Adam.
saw adam on his glamnation tour and to say that he was amazing is an understatement. now i get to see him front queen this summer!! undoubtedly, he is one of the best to come from idol.
I saw him, too with Allison and Orianthi. Since then, I’ve seen him with Queen. To me he is the greatest talent to come out of Idol, period.
he’s the best to come out of ANY singing competition. pity that so many others don’t understand what we do. the man is an incredible talent.

NO thanks… I’ve seen better talent than this bunch of duds at the local high school talent show.
They’re all very talented! But they got rid of Cj harris way to early! Jena is good but she is not “awesome” and Sam Wolfe didn’t deserve the save, Caleb is ok but he’s not versitile, Cj and Jessica and Alex were the best ad I bet Cj will do better than Caleb and Jena and Sam Wolfe any day!
